CSI Latest News, Spin off and Updates: 'CSI: Cyber' Newest CSI Spin Off - Cast, Plot and Details Here!

We all love the CSI series. For some of us, CSI gave us our first glimpse of the world of "forensic science." We all hate to see CSI: Miami and CSI: New York go, but time does change. And it seems that the creator of the show, know it too. CSI: Cyber is something new and unique. In a spin off of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation Season 14, titled CSI: Cyber, the show introduced something new to the viewers.

 

The episode title "Kitty" gave us the first glimpse for CSI: Cyber and it showed what the CSI: Cyber team can do and what kind of crimes are they going to handle. The series' timing couldn't be better, with all the cyber crimes that's happening. It will probably raise awareness or make us more paranoid than ever.

 

CSI: Cyber team is going to deal with crimes committed in the "deep, dark world" of the cyberspace - hackers, pedophiles, identity thief, and many other type of cyber criminals. This is a different kind of "show" compared to the original and other CSI spin offs.

 

CSI: Cyber is inspired by the previous work of producer Mary Aiken. She used to work as a cyber psychologist. In the new series, Special Agent Avery Ryan, played by Patricia Arquette, is in-charge of Cyber Crime Division at Quantico, Virginia.

 

The cast includes James Van Der Beek as Senior special agent Elijah Mundo, Peter MacNicol as Assistant Director Stavros Sifter, Charley Koontz as technical specialist Daniel Grummitz, Shad Moss as cyber hacker Brody Nelson. CSI: Cyber Season 1 is planned to be a mid-season replacement for CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. It is set to be release on Spring 2015.

 

CSI: Cyber Season 1 latest update, the show will also star Luke Perry as FBI Nick Dalton. Dalton has his eyes set on becoming the head of the Cyber Crime Division.
