Orange is the New Black Season 3 News and Release Date: Orange is the New Black Author To Give a Lecture About Life in Prison - Lessons Learned Behind Bars

Orange is the New Black: My Year in a Women's Prison author Piper Kerman is going to give a lecture on February 4, 2015 at DePauw University. The lecture titled, "Lessons Learned Behind Bars" is going to be held at DePauw University's Kresge Auditorium, 605 S. College Avenue, Greencastle. This is a chance for fans to get more detailed information about the popular series Orange is the New Black.

Orange is the New Black is an award-winning series that is based on Piper Kerman's book. In her book she wrote, "Our system of 'corrections' is about arm's-length revenge and retribution, all day and all night. Then its overseers wonder why people leave prison more broken than when they went in." Kerman also added that most women in prison are not there because of violent offenses. She admitted that like most women in prison, she experienced and endured things such as "groping from guards" but she insisted that other prisoners did not lay a hand on her. Kerman also said that she did not witness any physical violence during her time in prison. Kerman is now a board member of the Women's Prison Association.

One of the stars in the series, Dascha Polanco, reveals that Orange is the New Black Season 3 is going to be amazing. She said that fans should get ready for the same unexpected writing and filming. Polanco added, "Orange is what it is - one of a kind." Another series regular, Jackie Cruz, revealed that Orange is the New Black Season 3 will have more new stories. Cruz refuse to reveal any more details about the upcoming season of Orange is the New Black.

Orange is the New Black Season 3 release date is rumored to be on June or July 2015 in Netflix.
