Idina Menzel Set to Release 2014 Christmas Album Holiday Wishes, Plus her reprisal of Elsa in Disney's Short Film Frozen Fever

Let It Go singer and Broadway star Idina Menzel has recently revealed the release date for her upcoming Christmas album called Holiday Wishes. The album, produced by Walter Afanasieff-who has also worked with other big artists such as Celine Dion, Mariah Carey and Aretha Franklin-will be out on October 14.

As further revealed through other reports, the much-anticipated Idina Menzel Christmas songs will include "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," "A Holly Jolly Christmas" and Joni Mitchell's "River," which is reportedly one of Menzel's most well-loved Christmas songs. The album shall also include at least one original song called "December Prayer."

As a lot of you may know, Menzel has risen to mainstream fame partly because of her astounding vocal performance in the movie Frozen and popularizing the now hit song Let It Go. Apart from that, Menzel had done many similarly noteworthy performances in other projects such as Rent, Wicked, Glee and Enchanted, among others. Currently, Menzel can be spotted in the Broadway musical If/Then, which earned her a Tony nomination for Best Actress in a Musical.

One of the things that fans will definitely look forward to is her reprising the role of Elsa in the upcoming Disney short film Frozen Fever due to come out this spring.

Her last studio album called I Stand was released way back in 2008.

Once it comes out, Holiday Wishes shall mark her fourth studio album
