Not long ago, Sony announced that Minecraft on the PS4 can be purchased for $20 or $5 for those who have a copy of the PS3 version. In the PS4 version, the Minecraft world is 36 times larger than the PS3 version and it is capable of importing saves and any purchased DLC from the PS3 to the PS4.

According to Sony, there will be a physical copy of the PS4 and it will release further details at a later date. Mojang announced that Minecraft will also make its way to the Xbox One on 5^th September for $20 and $5 for those who own the Xbox 360 version. IGN rated the PS3 version of the Minecraft and gave it a 9.5 for it charming style, crafting and also the great multiplayer feature. The PS4 game will finally be released after initially failing during the final certification process. It is maybe not a coincidence that long after it went live, the PS4 network began experiencing some issues. Meanwhile, PlayStation France has confirmed on Twitter the rumors that have been going around that the digital version of PS4 Minecraft will be released on Wednesday, according to IGN. The link to the tweet from PlayStation France, however, has been removed. This has raised questions as to whether the said release will happen any time soon. 4J studios and Mojang have not yet commented on any of the rumors. 4J recently said that the version was close to being completed.

The Minecraft game has been anticipated for by fans quite a lot, but it was delayed as it has to be repaired. When it was taken to Sony for testing, it was discovered to have bugs and this delayed it some more.
