'Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1' Release Date 2014, Jennifer Lawrence New Promo Poster Revealed, See Here [PICTURE]

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 movie has released a brand new poster that shows the back of Jennifer Lawrence's brave character, Katniss Everdeen. She is armed with her bow and arrows and her signature single braid. You can check out the poster above. The theme of all of the new movie posters they have released have been dark and somber. 

The poster posted on the Hunger Games Facebook page, along with the caption, "Our Leader the Mockingjay arrives on 9/10." 

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 is a few months away from it's highly anticipated November 2014 release starring Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence)  and Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson). 

Katniss Everdeen's role in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 is more vital than ever. This film will pick up immediately where the last film, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire left off. Katniss, is devastated to learn that her former home, District 12 of Panem, has been obliterated into ashes and her close friend and seemingly love interest, Peeta, has been taken captive by President Snow and the wicked forces of the nation's capitol. Katniss reluctantly becomes the beacon of hope and newfound leader of the rebel forces forming to wage war against the capitol - naming her as "The Mockingjay".

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 is directed by Francis Lawrence from a screenplay by Danny Strong and Peter Craig and produced by Nina Jacobson's Color Force in tandem with producer Jon Kilik. The novel on which the film is based is the third in a trilogy written by Suzanne Collins that has over 65 million copies in print in the U.S. alone.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 is set to release to theaters on November 21, 2014.
