Daughter of Crystal Lewis Izzi Ray Releases New Song "Heaven is Your Throne"
Daughter of veteran contemporary Christian singer Crystal Lewis, Izzy Ray has just released a brand new single "Heaven is Your Throne" to radio today. The song is the debut single from Ray's upcoming sophomore album, "Make Much Of You." Ray wrote "Heaven Is Your Throne" with her producer Blaine Stark.
T"Heaven is your throne is a song birthed out of a moment of awe," Ray said. "I wanted to put words and music to that feeling. It is an expression of my worship to God who is so mighty and powerful, yet so personal and loving."
"Make Much of You" is the follow-up album to her 2012 debut self-titled album which was recorded in her home in Montana. The debut CD features songs that gave expression to Ray's faith and her growth in Jesus Christ. Some of her most notable songs from that album included "Jeremiah," "More than Conquerors" and "Our Time is Now."
Ray, a native of California was born into the music-industry family of Grammy-nominated and Dove Award-winning artist Crystal Lewis and music producer/record label executive Brian Ray. Growing up in a family where life frequently took place on the road, Izzi Ray became acquainted with music and touring at an early age and began playing guitar and writing songs at 11.
Her journey of faith also began at an early age, having met God personally at the age of 5. "I want to be a voice in my generation that stirs revival," Ray says. Ray's upcoming album, Make Much Of You, is set for a Fall release.
