H1Z1 Release Date, Reveals, Plot and Rumors: Sony to Release H1Z1 Early Access Alpha on Steam Soon
The release date for the H1Z1 game has been slated for fall of next year according to the latest reports. The game is about a zombie apocalypse outbreak that happens within the borders of the United States, and the players have to resort to the best survival strategies in order to make it and overcome the forces. At the same time, the elements will be against you at this time, so the players will have to work in a more realistic setting. Sony Online Entertainment has yet to announce the exact release date for the H1Z1 Early Access Alpha on Steam.
Apparently, the multiplayer game is still in the developmental stage however, there are some reports starting that the early access Alpha is nearing sooner than later. As such, the developers are working very hard to create quite a challenging set up which would demand that the players think and strategize shelters of their own. On the other hand, Sony itself does not want to release the early access platform itself too early for fear of jumping the gun, so to speak. At SOE Live 2014, Steve George who is the games' producer answered a few questions during a panel about the upcoming title.
Apparently, the early access is to give the players a taste of the game to find out how they respond and particularly, what they like the most. Of course, these aspects will be tweaked the most in order to provide a favorable end product. When the game actually hits the market, the developers want the players to notice the tweaks and polishes done to make it that much better. The game play will include a longitudinal slice of what's going on including a vehicle, several weapons and a few zombies to tussle with. As such, the H1Z1 project was being approached as an Indie project whereby the company is trying to become much more on an open developer.
