Prince Two New Albums Releasing September 2014 with Solo & 3rd Eye Girl Material
Prince has announced that he will be releasing two albums on September 30th.
One will be released with his all-female band 3rd Eye Girl titled Plectrum Electrum. This is the band that he has mostly toured with for the past couple years. Then he will also be releasing a new solo album titled, Art Official Age. This is his first solo album since 2010's 20Ten.
His solo album Art Official Age features 13 songs including 'Breakdown' that has already been circulating and is now available to pre-order via the website ArtOfficialAge.com. You can check out the track list for the album below.
Prince will reportedly hold a series of special events and live dates around the world to celebrate the albums' release.
"Prince is one of just a handful of visionary artists who have truly reshaped and redefined modern music and culture," Warner Bros. Chairman & CEO Cameron Strang said in a statement about the release of the two new upcoming records. "For the past 35 years, he has never stopped evolving, challenging himself, reinventing his sound and pushing boundaries. In true Prince fashion, he has just given us not one, but two extraordinary albums that express the incredible range and depth of his talent.
