Transformers 5 Release Date News: Scheduled For A Premiere in 2016, Transformers 4 First in 2014 To Reach $1 Billion
Transformers is nothing but an American science fiction action films series. The first Transformers movie was released in 2007, second in 2009, third in 2011 and forth in 2014. The Transformers 5 release date is rumored to be in 2016. However, it is too early to think about it, Paramount commented.
The Transformers 4 is just released a month ago and we have started talking about the 5th installment. Nothing has yet been discussed about the new project. Transformers: Age of Extinction is just released and the producers might be watching how it performs and they take a decision on the next version.
There are rumors that Michael Bay would not be directing the upcoming versions but focussing somewhere else. Bay, in an interview with USA Today, said "I will pass the baton for future 'Transformer' movies while I can focus somewhere else." He is seemed to interested in making new movies with possibilities to explore. He is rumored to be working on a horror plot named Ouija.
The series is mostly distributed by Paramount Pictures, Dreamworks and United International. Star Trek 3 is also scheduled to be released same year. So there is more to arrive from Paramount in the coming year. It is very likely that the Transformers 5 may be pushed further in 2017 for release, since there are no signs of any development in the production area.
The good news on the other side is that 'Transformers 4' becomes the first film of 2014 to reach $1 Billion. What an achievement for Paramount. Amazing! Isn't it?
