FX American Horror Story Season 4 Release Date, News, Spoilers, and Updates: New Freaks Join the Cast
With Season 4 to be released in a couple of weeks, American Horror Story Freak Show has had a week of multiple reveals this past couple of days.
The synopsis for the mini series' brand new season has been released online.
"A troupe of curiosities has just arrived to town, coinciding with the strange emergence of a dark entity that savagely threatens the lives of townsfolk and freaks alike. This is the story of the performers and their desperate journey of survival amidst the dying world of the American Carny experience."
It has also been confirmed that the new season will be set in Jupiter, Florida in 1952.
What really got fans curios was the "dark entity" that threatens the freaks and other people. This could possibly be this seasons' counterpart to Bloodyface. It's been reported by leaked casting sheet that the season premiere will feature a murder of the Bachman family and that the person responsible is the Twisted Clown, who will be played by John Caroll Lynch. The Twisted Clown just may be a former member of the freak show who was eventually castaway from the group and is now seeking revenge.
This week also gave us new cast members joining the new season. You can't have a Freak Show without casting some notable actors who will portray the "freaks."Rose Siggins, who got her legs amputated when she was 2, is set to portray the character of Legless Suzy. Matt Fraser, diagnosed with phocomelia, which is a rare disease where his limbs are malformed, will portray Paul the Illustrated Seal. Model and fitness trainer who stands at 6'8 tall, Erika Ervin, will play Amazon Eve. The most notable newcomer to the series is the world's smallest woman, Jyoti Amge, who shared a photo with AHS veteran Jessica Lange for the announcement.
With all that information coming out about the new season, another great thing appeared online for everyone to see. An official teaser trailer for the show was finally posted online titled "Admit One," which can be seen below. There have been numerous fan-made teaser trailers posted on YouTube for the last few weeks, and it's finally time for something official to be seen, and hopefully this will only be the first one out of many.
The new season will feature returning veterans Jessica Lange, Evan Peters, Frances Conroy, Sarah Paulson, Gabourey Sidibe, Angela Basset, and Kathy Bates. Newcomers includes Michael Chiklis, John Carrol Lynch, Wes Bentley, and Patti Labelle.
American Horror Story: Freak Show premieres October 8, 2014 on FX.
