Mariah Carey officially announces a new concert tour that is aptly called The Elusive Chanteuse Show, as part of her promotions for her latest album release; "Me I Am Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse." The upcoming concert tour will be marking her first since the last one titled Angels Advocate Tour that ran in 2009 to 2010 with 23 overall shows; as well as her first tour in Asia since 2006's The Adventures of Mimi with (6) shows in Asia.
The concert tour will have its kick off in the megacity Tokyo on October 04 at the Makuhari Messe Arena and another in Yokohama on October 6 to be held at Yokohama Arena.

Four of Mariah's albums such as #1's (1998), Daydream (1995), Merry Christmas (1994) and Music Box (1993 are listed on the top ten best-selling albums by non-Japanese artists having sold over 1 million copies according to Oricon.
The Elusive Chanteuse Show will then head to Seoul, South Korea - Olympic Gymnasium (October 8) and four stops in China: Beijing - Workers' Stadium (October 10), Chengdu - Chengdu Stadium (October 12), Chongqing - Olympic Center (October 15) and Shanghai - Hongkou Stadium (October 19). And then followed by Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - Stadium Merdeka (October 22), Singapore - Singapore Indoor Stadium (October 24), Taipei - Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center (October 26) and Manila, Philippines - Mall of Asia Arena (October 28).
Asian fans can expect wonderful performances and exciting mix of Mariah's biggest hits, fan-favorite album cuts, never-before-performed selections from the new album and even some brand new tracks; as promised by the singer.
