"The Witcher 3" Video Game Reveals Exciting New Features and Is Due to Be Released on February 24, 2015 After It Took Home "Best In Show" at the 2014 Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles
"The Witcher 3" is due to be released on February 24, 2015. The game will be available for PC, Xbox One, and PS4. This version will vary from the versions that came before it, adopting an open-world mode rather than sticking to the route of linear storytelling.
Rumor has it that the world of "The Witcher 3" will rival even that of "The Elder Scrolls V: Skryim" in size. However, it is not size but rather content that matters when it comes to open-world games. The game is receiving much attention from critics and gamers alike, due to the fact that a role-playing game of of such interest has not appeared in several years. GameInformer called "The Witcher 3" "a must-see next-generation RPG."
At the 2014 Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles, the game ended up with over one hundred awards, including the "Best in Show" award.
The official title of the game is "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt," and the story revolves around the protagonist, Geralt of Rivia, who is the witcher from the title. Geralt is a monster-hunter and has magical powers, and it is the role of Rivia that gamers will assume when stepping into the game.
Senior designer Peter Gelencser at CD Projeckt Red, the Polish company behind "The Witcher," is one of the main developers of this game. He bragged about the quality of the game, stating, "Every single angle is postcard quality. It's beautiful. It's really worth it to explore."
"The Witcher 3" is a single-player game, with several exciting new features. One of those features is the ability to hunt monsters. The game is estimated to take about 100 hours to complete, though it could take much longer if players were taking their time and completing all of the side activities.
