Cheri Keaggy Offers Updates About Her Upcoming Album
Dove Award-winning singer/songwriter Cheri Keaggy is currently hard at work recording her upcoming album What I Know to Be True. Keaggy has revealed that the new project will contain 15 songs, which she will produced with Phil Keaggy (singer/songwriter, recording artist, guitar extraordinaire). Some of the musicians that will be featured on the album include Blair Masters (keys, strings, & other things) and Steve Brewster (drums & percussion).
"We're making GREAT progress on the new album, WHAT I KNOW TO BE TRUE," Keaggy revealed. "What a JOY to be back in the studio (3 different studios so far!!)."
"We've got MORE WORK TO DO with plans to add bass, guitars, cello, fiddle, background vocals, and, of course, the mixing process, but it is SO fulfilling to hear these songs coming to life! Lord willing, 15 songs to be exact. Thank You, Jesus! Lord, be exalted! You ARE the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE. We seek to shout it from the rooftops that ALL may know your MATCHLESS LOVE," Keaggy ontinued.
You can help Keaggy make the album by giving her a donation. If you haven't yet had the chance to give, it's not too late, you can DONATE HERE! You can also Venmo @clkgirl or send a check made payable to CHERI KEAGGY to PO Box 1567, Brentwood, TN 37024.
"Your prayers and financial support are vital to this ministry. May God bless you tenfold, however He prompts you to participate. Keep reading for more important info. If you are not able to give at this time, perhaps you know someone that knows someone. Spread the word and God can do the rest!" Keaggy concluded.
Keaggy began her career as a worship leader at a small church in Southern California before recording her debut album on Sparrow Records, Child of the Father, in 1994. Honored with a Dove Award nomination for New Artist of the Year, Keaggy has gone on to record eight additional albums, resulting in nine No. 1 songs, three Dove Award nominations and a Dove Award win.
