Citizens Partner with Sandra McCracken on "Altogether Good"
Citizens have partnered with Sandra McCracken on their latest Integrity Music single "Altogether Good." The song testifies about who God was, is and will always be. We are all living testimonies of that grace and as we testify it cultivates not only our own faith, but just as importantly the faith of those around us.
Remembering refreshes our faith. "I tend to get entitled and forgetful and when I reach a point where things in life are hard or uncertain I can live as if I haven't already experienced the goodness of God a thousand times before," says Citizens' Zach Bolen. "But when I look back, I see God with me. I've wondered how I would eat; he fed me. I've had people I loved and needed die; he comforted me. I've prayed for healing for others; he gave something better. I've prayed with faith a fraction of the size of a mustard seed; he gave what I really needed. I asked to be forgiven; he crowned me. I think to myself "he was with me then, surely he's with me right now."
In the longing of our souls
In the darkness where we go
You are there, You are love
You are altogether good
In the weakness of our faith
In the silence where we wait
You are here, You're enough
You are altogether good
