Ravi Zacharias Receives Grim News That His Cancer Isn't Treatable

Apologist, author, speaker and founder of RZIM Ravi Zacharias has received news from the doctors that his cancer is no longer treatable. The 74-year-old Christian apologist was told by his oncologist that his metastasizing cancer has reached a point where doctors are unable to help him any more.

Sarah Davis, Ravi's daughter and CEO of RZIM writes: "We have just learned that while the tumor in my dad's sacrum has been responding to the chemotherapy, the area where the cancer metastasized has actually worsened. His oncologist informed us that this cancer is very rare in its aggression and that no options for further treatment remain. Medically speaking, they have done all they are able.

Ravi, Margie, and Naomi are returning from Houston and will remain at home in Atlanta, where our family can be together for whatever time the Lord gives us.

The love and care that you have given to us is one of the most beautiful expressions of God's kindness. Zacharias, 73, founded his international apologetics ministry, RZIM, in 1984, and has been widely sought after for decades for his eloquent answers to life's biggest questions. He's been a prolific author, debater, and academic throughout his life.
