Reba McEntire Attributes God as the Secret of Her Successful Career
Country music veteran Reba McEntire has never been shy about her faith. In fact in 2017, she released a Christian album called Sing It Now: Songs of Faith & Hope. Recently, McEntire reveals that God is the secret behind her lengthy career that span across decades with countless awards and #1 singles.
"The Holy Spirit was left behind to comfort and guide us, and I rely on that strength each and every day," McEntire says in an interview with The Christian Post. "I just pray that the Holy Spirit guides me, speaks for me, helps me down those stairs."
McEntire says that her faith is behind her long and successful career. "It's all God; He's the reason for everything I do," she says. "I pray that I will find songs to record that will touch people's hearts and heal their hearts. Before I go on stage, I ask the Holy Spirit to touch people in the audience, if they need healing or comfort.
"Music has allowed me to do wonderful things God intended for the people who are listening."
McEntire will be back on tour in 2020. She will bring rising singer/songwriter Caylee Hammack along across a dozen cities kicking off March 20 and culminating May 9. Tickets for Evansville, IN; Huntsville, AL; Toledo, OH; Rosemont, IL; Green Bay, WI; Biloxi, MS and Grand Rapids, MI go on sale this Friday, November 22. Live Nation is the official tour promoter.
"I have always loved to entertain and to be entertained so I couldn't be more thrilled to head back out on the road and sing for the fans every night," shared Reba. "We have so many talented females creating new music and having Caylee join us will be a lot of fun!"
For the first time ever, Reba will also be offering fans the opportunity to purchase VIP experience packages including a meet & greet with the Country music icon, premium seating, access to the "Fancy" Lounge with food, drinks and a special exhibit featuring memorabilia spanning her impressive career, exclusive merchandise and more. VIP packages are available in limited quantities for each show. Get details on the packages here.
