Austin French Celebrates Birth Of Third Child
Contemporary Christian artist Austin French and his wife Joscelyn welcomed the birth of their third child on Christmas eve! Baby girl Baker Louise Anne French was born at 8:45am on December 24th, weighing 7.3oz and measuring 19 inches. Baker is joined in the French family by brothers Coleman and Owen, the former of whom was adopted at age 2.
Austin French writes: "Santa came early!! Christmas Eve at 8:45am our world changed forever! Introducing my little princess, Baker Louise Anne French weighing in at 7.3oz and 19inches. She has stolen my heart. Jo is superwoman and I've never been more proud of her! Mommy and Baby are happy and healthy."
Growing up in small town, Cordele, GA, Austin French dreamed of sharing his faith and passion for Jesus through music at a young age. Being surrounded by a musical family inspired his passion for writing music. As he began to develop his gifts he formed bands learning to take his music to stages and churches.
After becoming the worship pastor at Journey Church, in Tifton, GA, French met his wife, Joscelyn. While serving there, French was featured on the first season of the ABC TV show "Rising Star," where he finished as runner-up. After the show, Austin and his wife moved to Florida, and then to Nashville, TN in 2017 where French began his journey into the CCM industry, signing with Fair Trade Services. After moving to Nashville, French and his wife adopted their son, and while in the process, gave birth to their second little boy. French has released five songs from his anticipated debut album, Wide Open, set to release Sept. 7th, "Freedom Hymn," "Wide Open," "Why God," "Good Feeling," and his latest, "Born Again."
