Javon Inman Offers Encouragement Through New Lyric Video "Today Is My Day"
Javon Inman returns with his new single "Today Is My Day." The song is a contemporary and soulful track with an infectious 'wanna make you sing along" hook, Javon's powerful vocals and honest lyrics. He shares his trials and triumphs in becoming a recording artist where the "no's" from music industry executives fueled his faith and dream to never give up.
"Being overlooked wasn't easy to walk through. I wasn't prepared for the continued rejection that would crush my spirit," Javon shares. "All I ever wanted to do was create music that made God smile and people feel good. I knew God gave me something special when I wrote my first song at age 16 because I felt like a superhero - Popeye eats spinach. I write songs!" he laughs.
"Today Is My Day" is available on all digital music outlets and has a colorful companion lyric video available on JavonInmanVEVO via YouTube.
"My prayer for this song is that it serves as a daily reminder to all that the power of our words mixed with faith and a plan can change the trajectory of our lives forever," says Javon.Javon has penned countless songs, won multiple indie music awards and shared the stage with some of Gospel music's biggest names, but he remains focused on his purpose: To minister music that conveys the heart of God.
