The Gray Havens Release New Remix Single of "Band of Gold"
Husband/wife duo, The Gray Havens, celebrate wedding season with a remix of their top streaming wedding song "Band of Gold."
Music played a huge role in The Gray Havens' (David and Licia Radford) own marriage and heavily influenced their penchant for writing wedding songs. David shares "I actually proposed to Licia by recording an original song, hiding a boombox on a gazebo in Woodstock Illinois (the one in Groundhog Day), and asking Licia to marry me after we danced to the song."
"Band of Gold" is closing in on two million streams making it The Gray Havens' most streamed song. The duo's songs are quite poplar with young couples who use their music frequently at engagement and marriage celebrations. Artist Garden Entertainment's Keith Stancil shares "We field numerous requests for The Gray Havens to perform at weddings and for use of their music in wedding videos. With "Band of Gold" being used at so many weddings, we thought a danceable mix was a must."
"Band of Gold Remix" is now available on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Youtube, Pandora and all other digital outlets.
The Gray Havens will be doing June theater shows with Josh Garrels and soon announcing Fall tour dates.
Known for their unique blend of narrative-pop, The Gray Havens continue to expand their reach into multiple genres with thought provoking lyrical poetry. The duo has performed alongside such artists as The Oh Hellos, Josh Garrels, Ben Rector, John Marc McMillan, Andrew Peterson, Drew Holcomb among others.
