Watch Bishop Leonard Scott's New Video "Working in My Favor"
Veteran praise and worship recording artist, Bishop Leonard Scott, has dropped a fun, animated lyric music video for his current Top 30 hit, "Working in My Favor." In its fourth week on the Billboard Gospel Indicator chart, the urban contemporary-flavored track has climbed to No. 25 on this week's survey. The up-tempo tune features gospel music legend Fred Hammond, R&B treasure, Shirley Murdock, as well as one of Chicago's most dynamic choirs,Jeral V. Gray & New Direction.
Bishop Scott's granddaughter, Bryni Tiggs, created the music video. The story opens with Fred Hammond singing in the pulpit of Bishop Scott's Rock Community Church in Indianapolis. Then, the clip segues to scenes showcasing people facing various obstacles. As Bishop Scott sings in the song, "every disappointment, is working out in my favor." The ensuing message is that God will equip and lead everyone to triumph over their trials and tribulations. View the video at this link:
The song is culled from Bishop Scott's 14th album, Jesus Love Legacy (Tyscot Records). The uplifting collection of songs debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard Top Gospel Albums sales chart last month. It eclipses Bishop Scott's prior personal best chart peak of No. 18 for 2008's BeLifted album.
