Anthony Smith and Fully Committed Celebrate the Release of Debut Single
IMA Entertainment proudly announces the release of "I Am Protected," the debut maxi single from Anthony Smith and Fully Committed. IMA Entertainment CEO D. Solomon Brown believes this musical aggregation is the catalyst of a triumphant return to the choir glory days of yesteryear.
"We go to church on Sundays and when the choir does throwbacks, we reminisce of the days of the Institutional Radio Choir, Rev. Milton Brunson and the Thompson Community Singers Keith Pringle and the Pentecostal Community Choir and others. I have watched Anthony Smith and Fully Committed from a distance for a number of years, then having worked with them in the studio and seeing them from an up close and personal perspective, I am fully persuaded that these young people are ready to deliver much-needed inspiration and messages of hope and faith to a world that needs to hear what they have to say."
"Their sound is the unequivocal sound of choir and CHURCH music in its purest form. I Am Protected is the absolute perfect single. The song is a great source of encouragement and these young folk sing from experience. On top of all that, it's a shout song. I must admit, the musical arrangement goes all in. I am proud that they are part of the IMA Entertainment Family and I know with God's help and our strong production and marketing machines in place, we are destined for heights unknown."
Anthony Smith echoes Brown's candor, "All the glory goes to God! Without Him, I KNOW we are nothing, but through Him and because of the finished work of Jesus on the cross of Calvary, we are healed, delivered, forgiven, set free and already victorious. I Am Protected means a lot to my family and me personally. We were in a time in our lives when we were facing being homeless, at the time I was recently laid off and facing an uncertain future, I began to seek God for direction. The Bible says that God is near to the brokenhearted and true to His word, the Lord placed Psalms 91 in my spirit. I was comforted by those words, and from there the song came into being. It has blessed so many, I am sure it will be a blessing to many others as well."
Since their inception in 2009, Anthony Smith and Fully Committed have blazed a trail, traveling from churches to auditoriums crossing the region and performing with a venerable list of Gospel music royalty. The choir celebrates their single release with a concert on Saturday, October 13th at the Cathedral of Praise in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Special guests for the evening include Kentrell Ragin, Pastor Jermaine Kee, Simone Brown, Dani Chrystol and Professor Ronnie Felder and the Voices of Inspiration.
I am Protected hits digital outlets as Anthony Smith and Fully Committed prepares to go to radio and start the first leg of their promotional tour later this month.
