Chris Tomlin Announces 2018 Christmas Tour
Grammy award winner Chris Tomlin has announced his 2018 Christmas tour, "Chris Tomlin Christmas: Christmas Songs of Worship." The tour is schedules to run from November 30, 2018, to December 16, 2018, and cover 12 cities. The tour will offer lucky audiences up-close and personal concert experiences that are staged as an "intimate 'evening with' show, uniquely different from Chris' large-scale arena tours."
Tomlin is one of the only artists to ever receive the Sound Exchange Digital Radio Award for over 1 billion digital radio streams, and he has racked up three Billboard Music Awards, a Grammy, 21 Dove Awards, an American Music Award, the BMI Songwriter of the Year Award and more. His concert tours regularly sell out venues that have included New York City's Madison Square Garden, The Forum in Los Angeles, Nashville's Bridgestone Arena and Red Rocks in Denver. His Christmas tour in 2017 ended in New York City's Beacon Theatre and included an impressive array of sold-out shows.
"This is going to be an incredible night, an intimate night of remember what the season is all about, remember what Christmas is about, remembering why we celebrate and why we worship, and remembering our Savior together," Tomlin said.
Before beginning the tour in Montgomery, Alabama, Tomlin will be touring Canada in September and releasing a full studio album on October 26, 2018, "Holy Roar," with an accompanying book, "Holy Roar: 7 Words That Will Change the Way You Worship," a few days beforehand on October 23, 2018.
"'Holy Roar' is the freedom, the experience, the wonder of worship," Tomlin said. "It is seeing the church come together, hands lifted to God, pouring out our praise with an eternal song in our hearts. It's every voice together, changing the way we worship."
The Christmas tour will take place in major cities in the South, Midwest and East Coast. The full listing of cities and venues are available online and tickets can be purchased at www.christomlin.com.
