Doug Hershey's 'Israel Rising' Claims Fifth Number 1 on Amazon's Bestseller Charts
Israel Rising: Ancient Prophecy/Modern Lens, the captivating new book by author Doug Hershey, continues to build momentum, claiming the Number 1 spot on its fifth Amazon Best Seller chart, this time on the online behemoth's Best Sellers in Torah category.
"What an honor, and very humbling," Hershey said upon learning of the book's Number 1 ranking on Amazon's Torah chart. "I hope readers have been, and will continue to be blessed by the book." Israel Rising, which was launched to celebrate the anniversary of the formal establishment of the modern State of Israel 70 years ago on May 14,1948, also popped back up into the Number 1 spot this week on Amazon's History of Judiasm and Christian Prophecy charts. As this intriguing book continues to enthrall readers, it has propelled its author further into the limelight as a guest on multiple media outlets and broadcast programs. Hershey recently visited Atlanta, Georgia, where he pre-recorded an interview with the popular television show, Friends & Neighbors. That episode is scheduled to air today, Tuesday, May 29, at 4:30 p.m. ET. Fans outside the Altanta region can watch the show online at watc.tv/watc-too-live/.

"At the dawn of Israel's 70th year, Doug Hershey's new book, Israel Rising, is right on time," declares former Israeli Ambassador to the United States Danny Ayalon. "The photographic evidence presented of the restoration of the Land of Israel is nothing less than miraculous. As you view ancient prophecy through a modern lens, over 100 then-and-now photos come alive side by side."
The book, along with Hershey, has recently been featured on such high profile programs as CBN's The 700 Club, Jerulsalem Dateline, The Jim Bakker Show, Atlanta Live, El Shaddai Ministries with Pastor Mark Biltz, Jewish Voice with Jonathan Bernis, and Israel's 70th Project (Curt Landry Ministries).
