David Crowder is set to release his solo debut album as Crowder called, Neon Steeple. The album is set for a release date of May 27th and continues to highlight Crowder's knack for innovative songwriting. The album title was originally an idea formed when Crowder witnessed a stunning image of a steeple on the horizon. Among the new tracks is the record's lead Top 5 single (National Christian Audience) "I Am" as well as a duet with music icon Emmylou Harris on "My Sweet Lord." You can listen to "I Am" above.

Neon Steeple comes over two years since David Crowder*Band's final project, Give Us Rest (A Requiem Mass in C [The Happiest of All Keys]). His current single "I Am" peaked at No. 1 on the iTunes® Christian & Gospel Top Songs chart upon its release. The song has enjoyed a steady climb up the charts, currently sitting at No. 5 on the National Christian Audience chart, reaching over 6.6 million people weekly.
