Christian recording artist PLUMB will appear at Sam's Place at the Historic Ryman Auditorium on January 10. The event, hosted by Steven Curtis Chapman, will also feature Hunter Hayes, MercyMe, Mo Pitney and Rend Collective. During her Sam's Place performance, Plumb will be performing several of her biggest hits and describing her family's incredible testimony of healing.
Tickets are available now for Sam's Place - Music for the Spirit. The Ryman Auditorium is located at 116 Fifth Avenue North in downtown Nashville. Show begins at 7:00pm. Tickets are $39.50, $34.50 and $27.50 and are currently available at http://tinyurl.com/plumbsamsplace.
After her appearance atSam's Place, Plumb will join Big Daddy Weave on their "Beautiful Offerings" tour in 2016. Also appearing on the tour is Jordan Feliz.
Since the May release of EXHALE, PLUMB has been focused on sharing the album's themes: reflecting a grateful heart, giving credit to God for the restoration of her marriage and sharing the hope that He alone can give. Here's an excerpt of our review: ""Exhale" is touted as Plumb's worship album. But this is worship not in the sense of congregational worship as per the albums released by Darlene Zschech or Hillsong UNITED or Bethel Music. Rather, this is an overtly Christian album where Plumb comes before God as a fellow worshipper articulating her personal fears, failures, praise and thanksgiving before her Maker. Gone are those ambiguous pronouns -- those "hes" that make us wonder is Plumb singing about God or her husband or a friend or a child? Moreover, gone are those nebulous lyrics that could be read as a love poem to a paramour or worship expressed to Jesus."
Over the past two years, Plumb's life theme has been "hope is oxygen", explaining that hope keeps us alive when our lives are in turmoil. Now, EXHALE launches a new call to action; to exhale a message of hope to others who are hurting.
