Natalie Grant, Mandisa, Building 429 & More Performing at Benefit Concert in Nashville November 18
Accomplished Christian artist, Natalie Grant, is putting together a special 'Dear Amanda' benefit concert at her home church Crosspoint.tv in Nashville, TN. One of her current background singers and worship leaders at her church, Amanda 'Noelle' Wilcox, received a cancer diagnosis and she does not currently have health insurance. '
Grant moved quickly to help Amanda and scheduled a benefit concert with several top names in Christian music all coming together to help raise money. The result will help aid in Amanda's medical bills moving forward.
This is the statement that Natalie released about the concert:
"Recently I posted on social media about my friend and background singer Amanda Noelle. At the young age of 30, she's been diagnosed with colon cancer. We've learned the cancer is more advanced and prognosis worse than originally thought. Treatments will be more aggressive. And more expensive.
I called a few of my friends and we are putting on a benefit concert for this precious sister in Christ. She's a worship leader at my church and I have watched her serve and serve, never complain and never ask for a thing. It will be a privilege to serve her in this way.
If you are anywhere near the Nashville area, would you join me, Mark Hall of Casting Crowns, Mandisa, Building 429, Dave Barnes, Plumb and Danny Gokey on Tuesday, November 18, 7:30pm at Cross Point Church in Nashville. Just $10 at the door. Come and bring all your friends. There will bee a silent auction with various items starting at 6:30pm.
Details in attached photo.
And please pray for this dear girl.
Love,
Natalie"
Natalie's work has gained international acclaim, including five GMA (Gospel Music Association) Dove Awards for Female Vocalist of the year. A mainstay on the Billboard Christian Songs chart with numerous #1 hits over the past decade, Natalie-re-affirming her status as one of gospel music's most popular artists-is enjoying out of the box success with her recent infectious title track "Hurricane," which quickly hit #1 on iTunes, charted on Billboard and Mediabase and is the fastest rising single of her storied career.
