'Tears To Tiara II: Heir Of The Overlord': A Fierce Strategy RPG Game Set To Be Released Tomorrow, Oct. 31
It is a strategy game, developed and published by Aqua Plus, which was released in Japan last 2013.
Gamestop cited that "Tears to Tiara II: Heir of the Overlord" is a fierce strategy RPG combined with visual novel-like storytelling from developer Aquaplus. Telling the story of the last heir to Hispania's royal throne as he fights to reclaim his land from the Divine Empire, "Tears to Tiara II" is a standalone adventure lasting approximately 80 hours that requires no prior knowledge of the previous game.
"Tears to Tiara" is a Japanese adult tactical role-playing game developed by Leaf and was first released for Windows on April 28, 2005 in Japan. Then it was followed by a 12-years-old and up version released for the PlayStation 3 platform on July 17, 2008 in Japan, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, in which the adult content was removed.
The PlayStation 3 remake titled "Tears to Tiara: Garland of the Earth" was released on Sept. 17, 2009 which contained several enhancements and additional scenarios including new character designs and changed the original 2D gameplay to 3D.
According to Siliconera, Aquaplus released a downloadable demo for "Tears to Tiara II" ahead of the game's Oct. 31 release. The demo lets players try the beginning of the strategy RPG and is roughly four hours long. Save data from the "Tears to Tiara II" demo can be imported into the final game.
They added that "Tears to Tiara II" demo is 971 MB and you can download it now with a Japan region PlayStation Network account.
Gamers are very enthusiastic about the release. On the comments section of some blogs, fans are voicing out their excitement. A comment says he/she wants to set up a Japanese account just to try the demo.
Other wants to try the game like this interested fellow saying, "Won't hurt to try it I guess".another curious gamer asked, " Anybody know if you have to play the first one to understand this?", many gamers are fascinated and want to play this game.
Darkzero already reviewed the game and said, "In the end, Tears to Tiara II is a well put-together game that's hard to recommend in the long run. Had the game chosen to either be a full-fledged Visual Novel with proper saving features or a more evenly-paced Strategy RPG, it would have gotten a higher recommendation."
