'American Horror Story: Freak Show' Season 4 Episode 3 Spoilers: Celebrating Halloween in a Dark and Twisted Way
Expect a freaky early Halloween treat from the hit series "American Horror Story: Freak Show" next episode wherein it will tackle a creepy urban legend, which promises to provide viewers a nightmare that they will never forget.
Ryan Murphy, the co-creator of the hit horror TV series, has shared some spoilers regarding the third episode of the show in an interview. According to Entertainment Weekly, the episode is entitled "Edward Mordrake," which will delve into the myth regarding a madman with two faces who are believed to have existed back in 1950s.
Murphy has also explained why they have decided to feature the story of Mordrake for the episode for Halloween. He said that in American Horror Story what they like to do is to tackle horror myths and they knew that Edward Mordrake is an exceptional myth. There are several individuals who say that it's real and there are online photos that purport to be the autopsy photos and there are others who say that it is not. He also added that there was a period based on their research, which involved a freak show so that will be part of the myth.
In teasers for "American Horror Story: Freak Show" episode 3 also mentioned that Edward Mordrake is in Jupiter, Florida as well as determined on revenge. He is also part of the horrible past of Ethel Darling.
Based on Christian Today, Edward Mordrake will be portrayed by Wes Bentley of "Hunger Games." In the synopsis, some performers in the freak show refuse to work during Halloween night as they're afraid that their songs might summon Mordrake and his scary fury. The twins Dot and Bette think that the story isn't true, yet Ethel warns them that the myth is real.
Apart from Edward, some cast members will also be introduced in the forthcoming episode. Dennis O'Hare and Emma Roberts will be featured as the con artists Stanley and Maggie Esmeralda. Maggie will be the love interest of Jimmy Darling, the Lobster Boy. With these spoilers, fans or viewers are advised to catch the upcoming episodes.
