Samsung Galaxy A7 Latest Leaks and Updates: Powered by 64-bit Processor and Octa-core CPU; Features Full HD 1080 PPI Screen
Success is sweeter when you failed once. This is seemingly Samsung's mantra after it has lost significant profit and huge market share after the release of Apple's hot selling iPhone 6 series. After the Korean-based company admitted its 'hurt' over the Cupertino-based firm's biggest smartphones, Samsung is currently preparing their own bomb.
It has been reported for quite a while now that the tech-giant has a new metallic smartphone series underway, considered 'siblings' of Galaxy Alpha, as reported by iTech Post. The upcoming handsets, rumored and labeled as the A series, have been the subject of several rumors and leaks. It has been reported that the series will include Galaxy A3, A5, and A7. Among the three anticipated metal phones, A7 is considered the most elusive.
After several leaks of Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5's specifications and photos, Samsung seemed to keep the doors shut when it comes to the A7. But as tech geeks and smartphone users cannot wait for long, a supposed User Agent Profile of the upcoming handset has been disclosed, Tutto Android reported.
The short but meaty text-file revealed the most important specification of A7 which is considered as the most high-end among the three upcoming A series handsets. The leaked information confirmed the rumors that A7 will be sporting an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.5 GHz.
A7's ultra fast 64-bit processor attested tech-buffs prediction that all Samsung Galaxy A series will all be powered by the 64-bit processor, Gadget Helpline reported. Samsung's new top device will also house Qualcomm Adreno 405 GPU that complements its 2GB RAM. The smartphone will also be having 16GB built-in storage capacity.
Contrary to the recent rumors, the leaked file also cleared that Galaxy A7 will have 5.2-inch full HD screen with 1080 resolution and not the initially reported 5.5-inch display. The upcoming phablet is still set with Android 4.4 Kitkat OS but after Google has recently launched its newest Lollipop system, this aspect may still change.
Camera and selfie lovers will love A7's 12MP rear snapper with full HD video recording capacity and 5MP front selfie cam. In terms of features and connectivity, Galaxy A7 will have accelerometer, Bluetooth, a compass, GPS, NFC, and Wi-Fi capacity.
Samsung, as usual, remains mum amid the leak. But still, anticipating fans and tech geeks will keep their eyes and ears open until Samsung Galaxy A7 release, which is rumored to be unveiled next month. The top handset among the three is also rumored to cost around $450 to $500.
