Thor 3 News and Updates: Hemsworth Interview Reveals 3rd Movie may not be out until 2017 Considering his Schedule
The fact is that Marvel Studios has films which are scheduled until 2020, and it seems like one of the biggest franchises, Thor is not coming back until the back end of the six year late. There is a report which indicates Chris Hemsworth's busy schedule may prevent another Thor film coming to the big screen, at least not before 2017. In fact, in an interview with Buzzfeed, the Asgardian himself said the next major film is not going to be Thor 3. Chris has four major movies coming out next year. They include Blackhat, which is a thriller by Michael Mann. There is In the Heart of the Sea, and of course, the Avengers coming out next year. At this rate, we should assume that Thor 3 may start shooting in 2016 the way things are going.
That is just what he will be promoting next year. Apparently he is also filming the sequel to Snow White & The Huntsman with Kirsten Stewart, which is supposed to focus solely on the Hunstman character. This in itself is another budding film franchise for him. The current situation for Thor 32 coming out in 2017 rather than a year earlier would also fit in with Marvel's established plot for Phase 3 of films. These are the films that will be released between Avengers 2 and Avengers 3. So far, I count about 3 of the major plots including Thor 3, Captain America 3 and possibly Iron Man 4 if they manage to get their act together. Of course, this has been cobbled together from announcements, rumors, and directors letting information slip at a steady trickle.
As such, we all probably know the climactic plot of the third film by now. For those of you who do not. This movie is going to feature the destruction of Asgard, probably at the hands of Loki and the Demon Sutur. Thor may have to kill his brother and his battle with the Demon may cause Mjolnir to shatter and then where will we be. Overall, this may be the last Thor movie, Hemsworth stars' in which is the trend with several of the Marvel upcoming installments
