Moto 360 gets 4.4W.2 Update: New Features - Lighting Detection, Smart Battery Saving, Automatic Synchronization!
The smartphone manufacturer has extended Android wear option by their latest releases. Motorola has stepped in the arena too aside from its Moto G and Moto X series smartphones. The smart watch from Motorola platform Moto 360 has managed to catch the eye of tech enthusiasts for the time being with extraordinary performance. Recently its software update 4.4W.2 has made this smart watch more popular with the latest features.
The latest software update was initiated from last week Tuesday but it has not popped up in many Moto 360 watches. Manually the update can be installed with the Menu. The update lies in About>system updates and with some simple procedure the update will be ready to install. The key fact is checking your battery power as it should have at least 80 percent of charge available.
Motorola blog post has cited words about the update. The latest update includes new features listed below.
Moto 360 will be more intelligent with mood of lighting detection feature. The device will adjust the lighting of itself with the room to provide best visual experience while working in a bright or too dark environment.
The smart battery saving feature will let the battery to run on ambient mode when the charge of the battery hits 15%. Therefore, you do not have to manually set the brightness lower or stop apps to save battery.
The smart watch automatically synchronizes with your smartphone rapidly to keep the time updated.
The latest software enhancement will reduce the issues with Bluetooth Headset connectivity allowing an easy connection facility. Other bugs are also squashed away with the software enhancement.
Battery life is rumored to have update with latest software. Some users are claiming to achieve better battery life and smooth performance after the update. However, this device provides excellent battery backup with a day of rapid use.
The user interface has been updated with brilliant notification system tray appearing system. New feature allows observing the full watch display without completely removing notifications. Notification will appear after tapping the top and a slight swipe whenever high priority notification arrives.
