Dead or Alive 5: New Interesting Breast Physics Engine
Tecmo's famous franchise, Dead or Alive, will have its fifth and final installment.
According to Total Xbox, the last installment, titled Dead or Alive 5, will be released February 19, 2015 in the land of the rising sun, Japan. The game will have two versions, one for the basic free version and another paid version. Both the basic free and the paid version will be launched simultaneously on the release date. No further updates on the difference of the two. However, players from both versions will be able to battle against each other.
The fifth installment is subtitled "Last Round" and will include two new battlegrounds from the past games. "Danger Zone" that came from the first Dead or Alive, and "Crimson" from the second Dead or Alive. New characters will also be featured. A new and original character and a previous character from the arcade version of Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate, Nyotengu.
Back in September 2012, OXM gave Dead or Alive 5 a 7 out of 10 rating. It also described the game as a safe sequel, which still used the same formula that made the Dead or Alive franchise boom and become a fan favorite.
In an article from Kotaku, the upcoming Dead or Alive 5 game uses a new engine made by the developers to bring more life into the characters.
The engine is named "Yawaraka Engine" or simply "Softness Engine" in English. The engine was made to make more naturally realistic characters on the next generation platforms.
Youske Hayashhi, the producer of the game, says that one reason the fans would assume that it is for the next generation is that the female video game characters on DOA must look cuter. He also boasted that the skin and breast physics are top of the line.
The Yawaraka Engine is not only used for enhancing female body parts, but for the male characters as well.
The upcoming Dead or Alive game is said to have the "biggest" of the characters, the term "biggest" may refer to the female characters' breast because of the new Yawaraka Engine, according to HereIsTheCity.
