This big size smartphone will be competing with Samsung Galaxy Note 4. Though iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus broke all the previous sale volume records within three weeks, it will be challenging for Apple to beat Samsung's Galaxy Note 4 phablet.
The larger sibling of iPhone 6 has 5.5-inch display size that offers LED backlit IPS LCD capacitive type touchscreen; the display resolution 1080 x 1920 is impressive along with the knife-edge sharp 401 pixels per inch pixel density. The glass is protected by shatterproof glass and oleophobic coating enhances the durability. For security concern iPhone 6 Plus has Touch ID fingerprint sensor.
Other contestant Samsung is offering one of the best display qualities in the market with the Galaxy Note 4. Note 4 has eye-catching design with 5.7-inch display that offers 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution. The pixel density really is the key difference between iPhone 6 plus and Note 4. Note 4 contain 515 pixels per inch pixel density that is extremely sharp with Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen according to GSMARENA.
iPhone 6 Plus sticks with the same camera as iPhone 6 that offers 8MP primary sensor and 1.2MP secondary camera sensor. Though the camera pixels may not seem higher but comparing to the pixel resolution iPhone 6 Plus camera performs really well. In terms of hardware configuration, Galaxy Note 4 comes in two variants. SM-N910s offers Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset with Quad-Core 2.7GHz processor with Adreno 420 GPU. Other variant SM-N910C comes with Exynos 5433 chipset that has Quad-Core 1.3GHz and Quad-Core 1.9GHz processor along with Mali T760 GPU As stated in 9to5 Google.
iPhone 6 Plus has provision for 16/64/128 GB internal storage model but lacks the external storage system while Note 4 has 32 GB internal storage that can be expandable with microSD card slot up to 128GB. iPhone 6 Plus runs with 1 GB of RAM while Note 4 is powered by 3GB of RAM.
